Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and lesbians.ink ("Service", "we", "us", or "our") regarding your use of our API and website. By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any material changes through our Discord server at least 30 days before they become effective. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

lesbians.ink is a non-commercial API service that provides access to curated yuri artwork. The Service operates as a content indexing and distribution platform, maintaining a database of artwork URLs and associated metadata while providing programmatic access through our API.

All artwork in our database is manually curated by us. We discover and add artwork by browsing social media platforms such as X (formerly Twitter), Pixiv, and other art-sharing platforms. This manual curation process ensures quality control and proper attribution for each piece of artwork.

2.1 Non-Commercial Nature

• The Service is and will remain free to use
• We do not monetize or sell access to the Service
• We will not transfer ownership or control of the Service to any commercial entity
• The Service operates solely for the purpose of making art more accessible while respecting artists' rights

3.1 Artist Rights

All artwork accessible through the Service remains the exclusive property of their respective creators ("Artists"). The Service does not claim any ownership rights over the artwork and explicitly acknowledges that:

• Artists retain all intellectual property rights to their work
• Artists maintain complete control over how their work is used, shared, and distributed
• The Service only stores and serves the original, unmodified artwork
• Artists may request removal of their content at any time

3.2 Content Removal

Artists may request the removal of their content by:

• Emailing support@lesbians.ink
• Including proof of ownership or creation
• Specifying the content to be removed

We will process valid removal requests within 24 hours of receipt.

4.1 Attribution Requirements

When displaying artwork obtained through our API, you must:

• Display the artist's name prominently alongside their work
• Include a clickable link to the original post
• Maintain all watermarks and signatures
• Make attribution visible without user interaction
• Include artist credit in social media posts

4.2 Technical Requirements

• Respect rate limits: 100 requests/minute, 1000 requests/hour
• Implement proper error handling
• Cache responses for no more than 24 hours
• Use appropriate content filtering

4.3 Prohibited Uses

The following uses of our API are strictly prohibited:

• AI training or machine learning
• Commercial use without explicit artist permission
• NFTs or blockchain projects
• Mass downloading or scraping
• Creating derivative works without permission
• Removing or modifying attribution

We maintain the right to:

• Monitor API usage for compliance
• Issue warnings for violations
• Terminate API access for repeated violations
• Block IPs or users engaging in abuse
• Take legal action against serious violations

Termination procedures:

• First violation: Warning issued
• Second violation: 24-hour suspension
• Third violation: Permanent termination
• Severe violations may result in immediate permanent termination

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We specifically disclaim:

• Any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Responsibility for content availability from third-party sources
• Liability for service interruptions or downtime
• Responsibility for actions taken by content hosts or platforms

6.1 Content Disclaimers

By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

• The Service provides access to artwork depicting romantic and intimate relationships between female characters
• Some artwork may contain mature themes or suggestive content
• You are of legal age in your jurisdiction to view such content
• You are responsible for implementing appropriate content filtering based on your audience
• We maintain separate categories for SFW and NSFW content to assist with content filtering

IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
